How to become a travel agent without experience?

Monday, February 14th, 2011
jlfolger asked:

I want to become a travel agent but the only positions I’ve found were for experienced agents. So, how does one gain experience in the travel industry if nobody will hire you unless you have experience? It’s a catch 22!!! Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

How did people travel long distances during the 17th century?

Thursday, February 3rd, 2011
SangsBleus asked:

Would an aristocrat travel on a ship? Would a trades man travel by sea? The people I’m speaking of are of the upper class and have aristocratic background.

By long distances I mean from country to country. For instance from Bordeaux, France to Rome, Italy. How would they travel? How long would it take?
