Have there ever been accidents at Philipsburg / St. Maarten - Princess Juliana Airport?

Applesauce McGee asked:
I was just looking at some photos of Philipsburg / St. Maarten - Princess Juliana Airport on http://www.airliners.net and as always I am in awe at how close the beach is to the runway and the fact that the planes come within 30ft of the people below who are just staring at the loud hunk of metal and aviation fluid pass over them. What I want to know is: have there been any close calls with aircraft approaching too low or have there been instances of people throwing rocks at the aircraft as they fly over?
