Well I want to know more research on this.
Also does algal bloom have anything to do with global warming? Does global wamring have to do with the clarity of the water? does the fact that the caribbean is near the equater play any role in this?

Caribbean are not very fertile the more northerly waters in the more northerly waters are not very fertile the caribbean are loaded with life.

For nutrients including microorganisms like algae if you believe al gore increased co2 levels in tropical climates have something to coral reefs which only grown in tropical climates have something to do with the clarity of the water for.
