Try the isles of TRINIDAD & TOBAGO! You can get the best of both worlds!
Trinidad has a vibrant night life, Carnival (originated here & best on earth ~ see: ), several nature trails (hiking tours available), rainforests, largest pitch lake in the world, fishing, savoury local dishes from India, China, Africa, Europe & the Middle East.

Whereas Tobago (sister isle), is more relaxed & slow paced.
There are gorgeous white sandy beaches, you can do horseback/mountain riding. watch a local goat race, great hotels & endless private tropical villas to choose from (I prefer villas because they are more private & you can make as much noise as you wish!)~ check out:
These isles cultures are so diverse & that stems from it’s cosmopoiliton people.
T&T is also known for the social life! Yes the other islands are tourist destinations, but in T&T you can actually come and ‘lime’ (hang out), party & drink without people sucking up to you because you are a foreigner.
Calypso, limbo dancing & steelband were all born & started here! (The other isles are copycats!)
