Which island in the Caribbean should I take a trip to?

I am on summer break, then back to college life in the fall. I would like to treat myself. I’m feeling tropical. I would like to travel to an island in the Caribbean; however, there are quite a few! So, what do you suggest? How was your experience on one of the Caribbean islands?
